One four-hour class per week will be scheduled during the hours of 10 am–2 pm or 10:30 am–2:30 pm EST on M, T, Th, or F over six weeks. Classes are typically held on the same day of the week, but can be scheduled according to our mutual availability and your unique needs and schedule.

Course Details
Karuna Reiki®️ Energy is noticeably more refined and comes from a higher level of consciousness, and this course brings in this high vibration energy for profound personal healing and transformation. In addition, the energy greatly strengthens the Reiki energy the student brings through, and expands the scope of their practice. Receiving this energy brings us closer to our Divine Selves and the Holy Ones, or Enlightened Beings, who seek to guide and support us on our journey. As we open to and work with more of this divine energy, we anchor more and more Light on the planet, contributing to the spiritual evolution of humanity.
Holy Fire®️ Karuna Reiki®️ Master is the highest level of the Holy Fire®️ Reiki system, and is offered to Certified Reiki Masters of any lineage who have had 6 months of practice and integration at the Master level.
Karuna Reiki®️ is both a practitioner and a master course. Upon completion of this course, you will be a Certified Holy Fire®️ Karuna Reiki®️ Master, qualified to teach Holy Fire®️ Reiki I/II, Holy Fire®️ Reiki Master, and Holy Fire®️ Karuna Reiki®️ Master levels.
A comprehensive 142-page manual, Registered Holy Fire®️ III Karuna Reiki®️ Master Training Manual, is included in the course fee. Please note: if you register less than one week prior to the start of class, the manual may arrive after the class begins.
This in-depth and comprehensive course includes a combination of lecture, experience, practice and discussion. Students receive 4 Ignitions and 2 Healing Experiences which activate the 9 Karuna symbols and give the ability to perform distance and in-person Placements and Ignitions for all levels of Holy Fire®️ Reiki. Ample time will be given for experiencing the energy of each symbol and sending each symbol to others.
Toning and chanting with Reiki and the symbols will be taught, experienced and practiced. This course also provides a powerful, unique and safe method for healing spirit attachments (for those coming from other lineages, this is covered in the Holy Fire®️ Master course as well).
Here is a brief description of the nature of the 8 Karuna symbols (9 if this is your first Holy Fire®️ Reiki course) and their applications, as described by William Rand:
“Karuna I symbols: The first symbol prepares the client for deep healing and is useful with past life issues. It helps release karma and deeply seated issues on the cellular level. The second symbol heals deeply and can be used to break up the negative patterns we unconsciously use to insulate ourselves from the truth, thus shattering delusion and denial. It heals the shadow self. The third symbol fills the person with love and restores balance. The fourth symbol completes the treatment by bringing the client back into the body and grounding.
The Karuna II symbols have a higher vibration. They help connect directly with the Higher Self and work on a deeper level. While they have specific purposes discussed in class, the experience of their energy allows intuitive guidance in their use.”
"Reimagined" Format
Our intention with our "reimagined" course format is to provide a profoundly new way of initiating Reiki practitioners into this incredible healing art through a method of instruction that aligns with adult learning principles, maximizes retention of material, promotes integration of Reiki into daily life, and increases accessibility of comprehensive Reiki instruction.
We have found that in the traditional way of teaching the Reiki Master level (three consecutive 10-hour days), students often reach a point of oversaturation with the material and may not retain it all.
By presenting the information in 4-hour increments, students are able to be fresh, engaged and fully present throughout the class time. By dividing the class into 6 sessions over 6 weeks, students have an entire week between classes to integrate, practice and more deeply engage with the material. The following week, they have better retention and deeper questions and insights to share with the class.
In this reimagined format, students receive 6 weeks of support, encouragement, growth and healing. And, the relationships among the students deepen as they share their journey across this extended time rather than a weekend, providing a greater sense of community and likelihood of continuing this support system beyond the end of the course.
Please note: Students are allowed only one makeup class per course. You may miss 1 of the 6 live classes as long as you watch the class recording prior to the next week’s live class. The class recording is emailed to students within 24 hours after the live class. It is important to treat this makeup class as you would a live class by setting aside time to give your full attention to the video and receive the maximum benefit of both the information and energy. It is very important to be current by the next class, as each class builds upon the last. Receiving the Placements / Ignitions / Experiences via video will be just as effective as if it were live. The instructor will intend that the energy be sent to you whenever you view, and are ready to receive the energy. William Rand, the founder of Holy Fire®️ Reiki, uses this technique to provide upgrades with great success.
