Each offering is channeled live, unfolding in perfect harmony without rehearsal or script. Through the spoken word of the Seraphim Samael, delivered by Tava Baird, and the healing frequencies flowing through Jennifer and Keith Taylor by way of sound and movement, a sacred space is created where healing, remembrance, and transformation take root.
Each Power of Story Project offering is unique and unrepeatable. Catalyzing deep personal awareness, insights and transformation they are experienced on all levels of being, resonating in the soul long after the final note.
The Nature of The Work
This is not a relaxation focused sound bath or a concert. The heart of this work is deeply transformational. Story and sound are used as living instruments to invite movement, awareness, and inner shift.
No prior spiritual experience is required. This work is equally powerful for those who are new to spiritual exploration — as long as they are open-minded and curious — and for lifelong spiritual seekers, practitioners of energy medicine, paganism, earth-based traditions, mystical paths, and contemplative practices. Whether you are just beginning or have walked these paths for decades, you will be met where you are.

Come prepared to engage your own awareness and curiosity. The field responds to your presence. The depth of the experience often reflects the depth of your willingness to be present and open. You remain sovereign in your experience at all times. You are invited to engage in whatever way feels authentic and supportive for you in the moment.

This work actively honors authenticity, self-expression, and the sacredness of every individual path. Lilith's presence and influence is felt within this work — bringing themes of radical self-acceptance, sovereignty, and the reclamation of personal truth.
This is a channeled event, meaning that as the facilitators of this experience, we each connect with our guides beyond this realm and allow their words, voices, sounds, music, energies, frequencies to flow through us to those present. We work synergistically with the unseen in support of the participants according to their highest good and most balanced energies.
The guided meditation element is spoken by Tava from the Seraphim Samael, who remains actively engaged throughout the gathering. His guidance arises in direct response to the hearts, questions, and needs of those present. What is spoken is crafted in real time. Simultaneously, Archangel Michael and other guiding presences are actively engaged in the sound field created by Jennifer and Keith. The Power of Story is an act of profound trust and surrender to our most trusted guides, and we never cease to be amazed by the depth of their love, support and guidance for all involved. While we as the human facilitators do not plan or decide what will come through ahead of time, our guides coordinate their efforts and customize what is brought through in a most miraculous way. Again and again, participants experience the work as deeply personal — the transmissions meeting them precisely where they are on their own unique path. The event unfolds according to the living intelligence of the moment, shaped specifically for the people in the room.

Welcome and Greeting
Brief Discussion of the Theme of the event
Preparation for the Transmission
- this may include journaling, personal reflection, movement, etc
Ritual of Release
- an opportunity to set down the loads you no longer wish to carry, which may include: false stories, limiting beliefs, that which you have outgrown and are ready to shed
Guided Meditative Journey/Sound Transmission, as described above (typically around 45 minutes)
- you may choose to lie on a mat on the floor or sit in a chair as you feel guided and are able
-please bring your own yoga mat, sleeping bag, pillow, chair etc that you wish to use
- this is a time to close your eyes, listen deeply, engage your minds eye as you are guided on a meditative journey by Tava, and held in a resonant field of sound and vibration
Integration of the Experience
- this will vary but may include allowing your experience to flow onto paper in a myriad of ways, spontaneous movement, sounding and more

Meet Your Guides
Each Power of Story event is held with care, sensitivity, strength, and respect by these three experienced practitioners and a host of divine beings in the subtle realms.
Tava Baird
Tava Baird (Lilithian Mentor, Author, and Folk Artist) has been a teacher in the Pagan community for over thirty-five years. She is the owner of Darkflower Books and Folk Art and co-hosts the Mystical Musings podcast. She teaches art, history, and ritual classes in her area and mentors Pagans of all stripes on their journeys. She specializes in classes on Lilithian Magick and teaches throughout Virginia, Maryland, DC, and West Virginia.

Keith Taylor
Keith Taylor is a Karuna Reiki Master and sound healer who brings a grounded, embodied presence to energetic and sound-based healing work. Through overtone singing, rhythm, and sacred instrumentation, he creates harmonic fields that support grounding, clearing, alignment, and integration. A lifelong drummer, rhythm remains a core language through which he channels. His work with drums, didgeridoo, native flutes, rattles, and gong opens both stabilizing and liminal spaces, supporting deep transformation while maintaining energetic coherence. Working in communion with nature and with angelic and other divine guides, he serves as a steady anchor within group healing work, gently weaving higher-dimensional energies into embodied experience.
Jennifer Taylor
Jennifer Taylor is a high-level Reiki practitioner and instructor, sound channel, and creator of embodied healing experiences rooted in voice, movement, and sacred presence. She teaches all levels of Holy Fire® Reiki and Animal Reiki, offers Angelic Healing and Soul Resonance energy healing sessions, and creates individualized Soul Song transmissions—living energetic experiences received through channeled sound that support soul-level activation and integration. Jennifer is the co-host of the Mystical Musings podcast with Tava Baird, where she weaves grounded insight with direct energetic transmission through sound and story. Her work invites people into an ongoing, lived relationship with transformation—one that continues well beyond the ritual space.
